HUNTSVILLE, AL - FlexMedical announced today that its EHR product was ranked within the top five EHR programs used by physicians in Alabama during 2011 to report and attest for the CMS EHR incentive program.
Under this incentive program, eligible physicians are able to receive federal funding to the tune of up to $44,000 from Medicare and up to $63,750 through Medicaid. The incentive programs require the physicians to adopt and use a certified EHR product like FlexMedical for computerized documentation of their patient encounters, and in doing so, meeting and reporting on certain measures outlined in the program.
